As we drove down the mountain to Ft. Collins we went through the area that had been burned by forest fires earlier this summer. The lodge pole pines were burnt to a crisp. Some new growth is coming up now.
Ozzie and I took one day off from fly fishing and took a road trip down the mountain to Ft. Collins. It's been fun to watch this town change in the past 25 years that we've been coming to the Poudre for our family vacation. We ate lunch at the Crown Pub and watched the Olympics on their big screen TV. Then we did a little window shopping and did some clothes shopping at Jax for Logan.
Makes me want to make a road trip!
