Silver Fox, an original design by Marianne Wille

I have been knitting this fox for the last month or so and finally finished him over the weekend. Ozzie says this is a skinny fox who was put on a diet by his wife, Mrs. Fox, when she found him sneaking out and eating chickens at night. She put him on a diet of carrot salad and she'll often smell his breath for feathers since she doesn't trust him. I knit this fox with fingering weight wool from Maggie's Farm. The yarn is organic and very strong. I'm tweaking my design a little bit and like the way he turned out. Now I just need to make him a scarf for this long winter we are having.

ReplyDeletethanks for the recipe AND the good hearty belly laugh!

Love the pattern around his neck. A very handsome fox! The skinny little fox that has been visiting our yard was eating the carrot waste from the juicer the other day. I should have added some dressing!!
